Missions Conferences & Trips
We have been on the field for 2 years and 4 months. Our support, contrary to our expectations, has gone down consistantly over the past year. Since we are so close to the States (150 miles from Laredo, TX) we are planning to attend and participate in several missions' conferences. We have seven planned for the remainder of this year. If you have a missions conference in your church, would you consider scheduling us for your next available spot? It doesn't matter if it's not for this year.
We are happy with God's will for our lives. We could be more content with what he has done for us. We have EVERYTHING we need. The support that we raise will help us help others. That is why we are scheduling more missions conference. By the way, we are scheduling missions conferences and not just regular church services because the purpose of a missions conference is to raise money for the mission field and regular church service is intended for the edification of the saints of the local church.
Please consider this and pass the word along.
Conference… Done!
Praise the Lord! We had a great pastors' conference. The attendance was up, the preaching was hot, hearts were touched and the alter was full. We are dead tired. I think we will have recovered in time for church on sunday.
I was given the honor to teach a pastors' session on "Preacher's Kids" and a young people session on "The Kings Highway" (Deu. 20:17). Jenny sang "umpteen" times 
with nearly every session group, and, of course, she played beautifully with the church orchestra and in string quartets, trios and duets.
We are so blessed to be working with a team of people who live the Lord and work hard in the ministry. I'm so glad that we can depend on others to be faithful and I thank the Lord for all of you who had a part in the conference.

What to say?
I don't know what to say. I have so many things going through my head. There are so many things I want to say but don't know if I should or can.
The Power of Prayer
I'd like to thank everyone who has prayed for Jenny and me over the past few days. This is probably one of the hardest trials Jenny and I have gone through. I never did understand this until now. I have heard people who have gone through tough time say that they could feel the prayers of other. I now know what they are talking about.
God is Good… All the Time!
This morning Jenny and I went to a doctor to get a second opinion. The ultrasound confirmed our fears and we know now that our baby is in heaven. We are sad, of course, but we have a peace that passes understanding. We know that God is good and that every trial he sends our way is exactly what we need. We know that now we are closer to Him than before. We are stronger in His strength.
Jenny and I are thankful for your prayers and you support. We can't imagine how many hundreds of people have been praying for us these days. We still need your prayers. We are about to have our national pastors' conference, february 15 - 18. As I write this, Jenny is in orchestra practice. We have hundreds of hours of work to do before our conference and we will need the strength to carry out our duties in a way that would be pleasing to the Lord.
You are all a great blessing to us and we want you to know that every email and every comment was read over and over again. Jenny and I shared them with each other, sometimes through tears. They mean so much to us. Thank you.

We are going in for a second opinion today at 10:00 AM. Please pray for a strong heartbeat and a healthy baby. Thank you for your prayers.

PLEASE READ – URGENT PRAYER!!
On wednesday, january 27th, Jenny and I went to the doctor for a checkup. We were looking forward to getting a new ultrasound picture of our little baby. During the ultrasound, the doctor was unable to find a heartbeat, where two and a half weeks ago the heartbeat was strong and the baby was growing.
Just Thoughtlings
I am now 11 wks pregnant. And if you have been pregnant, you know all the thoughts that go through your head. “ Is the baby developing ok?” “Is the heart still beating?” “ Are they getting all the nutrition they need?”
Video Camera
I am the media director at Mount Hebron Baptist Church. A great part of our media ministry is video. We record the church services on DVD and make them available to our people and others. We also place video of our services on our website, http://www.mthebron.net. It has been a wonderful tool for our church and we have grown to depend on it.
